Due to privacy issues I will not reveal my name. Not that it is a big deal knowing who I am but sometime privacy can come in handy.
Lets say I was born in 1982, in a very hot summer day somewhere in Europe. I finished high school as one of the top students, winning many Programming, Math and Science competitions for my school, although I was lazy, didn’t study a lot and considered school as a dark course in the days when I felt sleepy and to damn lazy to get up from my bed.
After that I was offered a few scholarships from some of the most prestigious universities in the region, which I rejected for my own reasons, mostly the lack of personal creative freedom. So I gathered my papers and applied for another prestigious university and I got accepted as a full time student. There I studied for 4 years, but I haven’t taken my final exam to get my bachelors degree in Informatics yet.
Currently I am working in a company owned by me and some friends, doing my own business. I can say I am a workaholic, working at the office, working at home, in the bed… working late at night… I can say I love my job. My moto is:

Even though I don’t have much free time, I like wasting it in watching movies, long walks, talking pictures or simply sleeping (I just can’t get enough) . It might be strange but I don’t watch TV at all, I have a big screen TV sitting in my apartment, 200+ channels Cable TV paid some 2 years in advance, but I can not remember the last time I turned the TV set on.
On the other hand, every night I fall asleep watching some of my favorite shows on my laptop.

Thanks for this astounding script, but I’m just wondering if there was a way to disable the print icon? It could be easy for poeple to pick images and this seems to be a major issue.

The major issue is about those people who want others to look at their photographs or graphics, but don’t want them to have a copy.
Yes, it is possible to modify the context menu contents of flash (when ppl are using the original Browser plugin). No, there is no guarantee that the images won’t be copied, printed, whatever.
If the gallery loads web optimized images (lower quality) what’s the deal in securing them? PPL could take a screenshot, sniff the images source, anyway.
The Web is (almost) transparent, the data is everywhere, everyone can see it. If you don’t want people to get what you show. Don’t use the internet

I was playing around with adobe amg, it’s really customizable but far to complex to be really usefull. Flash Gallery does what it says on the box – I like that!
BTW, I found no clue about a license (too lazy to check all posts). You won’t sue/charge me if I would use the gallery for a private or even a commercial website? Don’t force me to code my own gallery ;-D

Thanks for this plugin. Its saved me a little time although I still have to manually code in 170+ image locations into the xml page. The nice thing I like about it is that I can just add images to the gallery folder whereas before I had to re-edit the swf each time to add images to a slideshow (wether loaded from a directory or embedded, I still had to manually re-edit the swf).
One gripe so far and thats to do with installing this swf into another swf. I wanted to add it into my sites gallery section replacing the current one there. However your gallery.swf only seems to work when its linked to as a seperate swf and not work when its embedde dinto another swf. Any solutions to this? I already tried altering “standalone” in the xml to no to see if that made a difference.
