For long time I have been thinking what are the things that I use the most in my every day life. Here is the list:
IBM ThinkPad R52
My primary workstation, my one and only PC (for the moment)… P M 750(1.86GHz), 1.5GB RAM, 60GB 5400rpm HD, 15in 1400×1050 LCD, 64MB ATI Radeon X300, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Bluetooth/Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, IEEE 1394, Fingerprint reader, 6c Li-Ion batt, WinXP Pro.
I take it everywhere I go… on my weekends on some mountain hill, on the beach. I travel a lot so my ThinkPad goes where I go… even in my bed (my girlfriend hates the damn black box, but what can I do…).
For a long time I was looking for a wireless mouse, being sick from all the wires around my notebook until I found this model by accident. It has the perfect design, good battery life and most important of all, using it feels good.
The core to my wireless network… I don’t like cables so I bought this Wireless Router. I was amazed by its performance and features provided by the firmware (Linux – OpenWRT). Exelent choice for your home or office wireless network.
Pentax Optio S7
“The 7 megapixel PENTAX Optio S7 is loaded with advanced features – all in a slim and stylish body. This model features an easy-to-use Blur Reduction High ISO mode to help reduce the effects of camera shake and subject blurring for sharp images even in dim lighting conditions such as night scenes and indoor sporting events. Also featured is Face Recognition AF & AE – a function that simplifies portrait-taking. In addition, the Optio S7 is the first compact PENTAX digital camera to accept the new SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) memory cards in addition to SD memory cards.”
I bought this camera cos it was small, the reviews I found on the net were positive and the price was not too high for this kind of compact digital camera. After taking the first 100 disappointing shots, I started playing with the settings and I had a pretty decent images taken with this camera.
On the other side I would like to consider myself as a amateur photographer, so this camera can not satisfy my obsession for photographing what comes to my eyes, but it fits nice in my pocket where ever I go.
I like taking pictures, documenting the present. I have a very bad memory so places, people and other things just fade away, so photos are alway a good reminder of what happened, who was there…
Amazing 5.1 sound system. Clear and brilliant sound, loud, very loud (500W, 1050 peak). I like listening my music well, so this hi-end model from Logitech is something just right for the job.
Nokia N73 Music Edition
So, can I live without all this things, maybe, except for my laptop, my most used possession.
